Giving out Deepavali aids to the poor, 2nd Nov. 2010.
At 2.30 pm a group of 50 poor people from from the indian community were told to meet at the Kedah Indian Association. All these people are identified through Village heads or community heads(ketua kampong) and with their help, we organise a ceremony to give Deepavali aid to them and wish them Happy Deepavali. With me are my personal assistance Sdr. Cheah, Ahli Majlis Bandaraya/Dap state Secretary, Sdr. Chow Hui Ping, Sdr. Zainol Endut(Dap ked vice chairman) and several Dap members. We thanks them for their help and cooperation for the success of the occasion, and also thank the KIA management for allowing us to use the venue for the purpose.
